The Story

About Smoke Meat Fest

Built on smoke, community, and doing barbecue the right way.

Smoke Meat Fest started in 2020 as a small backyard barbecue with just a handful of people. From the start, it was about real barbecue, good people, and creating something that felt authentic, relaxed, and worth coming back to. What started as a simple gathering quickly became something people looked forward to year after year.

What It's All About

Smoke Meat Fest is built around the tradition of doing barbecue the right way: taking the time, respecting the process, and creating an atmosphere where people can slow down, eat well, and enjoy the day. It's not just about serving food. It's about bringing people together around smoke, fire, meat, and community.

It's not just about the food. It's about what happens when good people slow down around smoke and fire.

The Venue

Today, Smoke Meat Fest is still hosted at a private residence, and that setting is part of what gives it its character. It feels personal, welcoming, and real. Guests aren't just showing up for barbecue — they're coming for the experience, the tradition, and the kind of gathering that's been built one year at a time.

What's Next

The long-term vision is to keep growing without losing what made Smoke Meat Fest special in the first place. The hope is that one day the event will move to a larger venue so more people can be part of it — while still preserving its identity, personality, and roots.
